# What is YMMV?

I’ve seen this acronym quite a bit here. What exactly does YMMV mean?

And you didn’t search or read the FAQ first, either… So what?

As far as IDBB, there’s a user named **I Dig Bad Boys** , and that might be what you saw. I don’t believe I’ve ever encountered that acronym before in a wider context. Perhaps if you examine the thread you’re referring to a little more closely the answer will reveal itself.

That’s how **I Dig Bad Boys** signs (at least some of) her posts, so you were probably either reading one of her posts, or one addressing her (as long names tend to either get initialized or abbreviated).
