Hmm, well, acording to the above (the “real” dates) I’m still a Sag., my kids remain a Pieces and a Virgo, but my late husband was a Cancer, not a Leo. Under the Chinese system, I’m a snake, and the kids are a rabbit and a monkey. (I sort of like the balance of power/food chain that suggests. :D) Never been that much into astrology, but I can’t deny that my kids, one of whom bears the same sign as my mother and the other of which bears the same sign as my grandmother, also bear sometimes irritating similarities in tempermant to their respective “sign-sakes”. (If my Virgo daughter were any more anal when it comes to things being JUST SO, she’d be OCD, and if my Pieces son had any stronger passive-aggressive tendencies, I might just have to shoot him with one of my arrows) :smack: And my DH was a “classic” Leo, I don’t care what the chart says. 😛 ---

Just for the moment perhaps, but Sagittarius is leading with 10 voters of 77. At the time I voted there were only 4 and it looked bad for the home team. Way to go, Sags! (Dec/4 here) ---

Are astrological signs evenly distributed to begin with? I’d think that some aspects of human behavior (especially ups/downs in sexual activity due to temperature) would cause births to be unevenly distributed. ---

[Here is a statistical analysis.](http://www.panix.com/~murphy/bday.html) There is even a link to the raw data. I don’t understand most of it but it seems that the distribution of birthdays is not governed solely by chance. ---
