My first-ever thread here was intended to be a one-off, but it was during the pay-to-post era and I really needed the advice (or so I thought), so IIRC I paid for a membership. Then I left the boards for several years, and returned as a guest, no bribes required to post my drivel. Was a guest for a long time, until **Quasi** paid for a year membership for me (Jesus, how I miss that guy). Now I’m back to being a guest. I’ve been kicking around the idea of buying a membership, but I’m not sure what good it would do. I really wish I had stuck with it back in 2007 so I could have that cool Charter Member status, but oh well. I don’t post enough to warrant a membership. ---

I paid when it first went to paid status then realized I hardly read/posted anymore. I didn’t post for probably a good 6 years or so and now I am wandering back in. ---

Can a guest see a member’s post count and join date? There were a number of years I didn’t post at all, but I still paid to keep my Charter status, or someone else paid to help me out. ---
