I’m going to let my survivors decide what to do. Since I don’t believe in an afterlife, it’s my opinion that death rites are only for the living. If it makes them feel better to cut me in two with bread knife and dance about on my grave singing 'Allelujah, that’s fine by me.
If my survivors happen to feel that carrying out my own requests are important, I want my tombstone to read “He loved cats, and cats loved him.” And I want my obituary printed in the New York Times.

I hope somebody would stop and think about their own life after seeing that.
Not to depress anyone, but should you die, it might be nice for your loved ones to have a autobiography. In addition to documenting everything important to you, it could tell everyone on an individual basis how much they meant to your life. It would certainly become one of their most treasured possessions, a source of comfort in a most difficult time.
Just a thought.
