July 25th will be upon us soon and the local “movie” stations usually show the same Christmas-themed movies that they show in December.

But do you have a favorite summer movie\* that is somehow LINKED to Christmas movie, but is NOT a Christmas movie? For example, “My Summer Story” (aka “It Runs in the Family”) with Charles Grodin follows the story of Ralphie the summer after he gets his Red Ryder BB gun.

\*Summer movie. Not that Halloween-Christmas thing.

Die Hard. Because it is definitely NOT a Christmas movie but occurs during the Christmas season.

OK - I’ll open this up a bit. Christmas movies from the southern hemisphere where December 25th is high summer may also be included.
