I live close to ground level behind the 7th pink skyscraper from the right in pic 3 - Mid-Levels, in other words. The parts of Wanchai closed by WTO protestors/police are fine.
Majority of the kids that I went to school with lived over in the midlevels/peak area. Nice place. Close to the action. Though personally, if I had the means, I’d buy a place out in deep water bay or something like that.
