I feel like listening to songs I don’t know. And I’m sure some of you like songs I would very much enjoy too. And I’m sure too other dopers would like discovering new stuff. There’s no requirement. It might something new or old, virtually unknown or a famous standard (I don’t know all famous songs there are), any language, any style…Whatever you happen to really enjoy at the moment goes. Thanks in advance 🙂 ---

“Free and Easy” from [Granuaile](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Granuaile_%28album%29), an album of Irish music by Shaun Davey. The album celebrates the life of 16th century Irish pirate queen Grainne O’Malley. Rita Connolly sings…beautifully. This has been my favorite song for about twelve years now. ---

Impossible to select a favourite song as anything that [Jackie Evancho](http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHtBaO_ZTyRVKUO8eumoB2dME57pZ1sqi) sings goes to the top of the list. Also, many by [Eleftheria Arvanitaki](http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD7E64C50F83E4C33) but there two stand out for me, Tzivaeri and Stis Pikrodaphnis Ton Antho. Jeff Beck and Joss Stone - [People Get Ready](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4N5o3GIGsY) Jeff Beck and Imogen Heap - [Rollin’ & Tumblin’](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuXcGHjBeac) Joss Stone, [People Get Ready](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msC8HkU3dpI) Imogen Heap, [Halleluja](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNQu9rP7xwI) Elisa, [halleluja](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIDIAM7gNpQ) and [Redemption Song](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tgk46-b0pQA), also [Luce](http://youtu.be/Nt40Y6eAeSU?t=49s) Laura Pausini + Tiziano Ferro, [Non Me Lo So Spiegare](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XX7BYeTE9s) This could go on all day ☹ ---

Just yesterday, on my way home from buying milk, eggs, cheese and whatnot, I was smiling to myself like a retard just grooooooving on the fact that Teitanblood’s “[Purging Tongues](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzgKvRp5yso)” is the best goddamn piece of black/death metal annihilation in the last three years or so. An absolutely devastating song. ---
