I’ve never been tested and I don’t have a burning desire to be tested. I hate tests. But my last GRE score tells me that I’m a smarty pants. Smart enough for Mensa, and smart enough to have been included in all those dang gifted programs as a kid. But my test scores were never quite good enough, or so I was told. I guess I fell through the cracks, but maybe it was all for the better. ---

I have never taken a formal IQ test, at least not one where I was told the result (I took a rather exhaustive 2-day test once in 7th grade which had to be an IQ test, at a school which itself has a test based admissions exam to get into 7th grade). But I took an online IQ test once about 10 years ago that rated me at 145 (whatever that means), and based on my 1987 SAT score of 1460 I’d be admitted to both MENSA and “the Triple Nine Society”.
