With a nod to the “Hi, Bob!” drinking game (you do a shot whenever a character on the Bob Newhart Show says, "Hi, Bob!)… I do an imaginary shot whenever… \*Alex Trebek says “good for you”. \*A family member on the local news after a tragedy says “s/he didn’t deserve this”, “we just want closure”, or there is mention of a “makeshift memorial”. \*An Amazing Race contestant calls his or her partner “Babe”. Whatta ya got? mmm ---

If I had a sip of very mildly alcoholic beer for each time the host of the local afternoon radio show used the word “interesting,” I’d be very drunk by the end of the afternoon. ---

My wife likes to watch The Bachelor and/or The Bachelorette. We have to take a drink any time someone uses the word “like”. We can’t fill our glasses often enough to keep up. ---

When the wife & I watch _ **Face Off** _, I do a “shot” every time someone says “I might be going home for this” If they were actual shots, I’d be an alcoholic by now, or maybe dead from alcohol poisoning. ---

Storms. 7:50 AM - Tree limb breaks off - ok - this is not a storm, it’s a hurricane. 7:55 AM - Well, that calmed me down for about 5 minutes 8:00 AM - One of the dogs ran off 8:15 AM - Better temper this a bit in case I have to make a run for the neighbours house. 8:45 AM - Better temper this a bit, seems like I didn’t have much rum in the first place. ---

Some I’ve heard/tried 1. The old Rachel Ray cooking show - E.V.O.O take a drink. If she explains that EVOO is extra virgin olive oil you gotta chug. 2. The Outlaw Josie Wales - caution, use shot glasses (many lined up and ready to go) with beer - take a shot every time Josey shoots somebody ---

A while ago, corporations had the silly and inane buzzwords that the CEO’s would use when they gave talks motivate the employees. Fortunately I was overseas and these and these talks would occur during happy hour. Every time a buzzword like “paradigm” or “synergies” was spoken by the CEO/VP we all drank a bottle of beer. ---

Have a shot any time my coworker FinanceGuy says “youknowwhatImean” or “youknow”. Have a glass any time you really, really, really don’t know. There have been a couple times LogisticsGuy and I actually tried to count the youknows; despite being sober, both of us lost count. ---

My friends and I used to watch Top Gun after drawing the following names out of a hat: Maverick Goose Iceman Slider Jester Hollywood Wolfman …drink when your name is called. Obviously whoever drew Maverick and Goose got shitfaced, but there’s one battle scene where Hollywood’s name is screamed like five times in fifteen seconds, which was always fun times for that guy. “Hollywood” ended up puking almost as often as Maverick.
