The Bat. Misunderstood, only barely capable of walking but can fly upside down and hover. Since the revelation of this some decades ago I’ve collected a LOT of plush bats, bat statues, one bat (genus and species unknown) in a small jar of preservative and an Intermediate Horseshoe Bat preserved in urethane like an Addams family paperweight. I also have several field guides to bats and a Bat Seeker II bat detector. ---
