I’m surprised no one has suggested the obvious. Go on Craigslist. Offer $100 over retail. If no one bites after an hour, make it $200, then $300, etc. You’ll have one by Saturday afternoon. ---

Get online to eBay Saturday and score a used and perfectly good older iPad from some Tech nut who just bought the newest thing. ---

My husband left the house for 10 mins to pick my daughter up at the dentist and that’s when they tried to deliver. I always thought the rumour the delivery people watched the house until you leave was just that. Now I’m convinced. ---

I pre-ordered the day it was announced. It was sitting in my foyer when I got home (management signs for and delivers our packages). I have an iPhone 4S but this is my first iPad.
