I dunno, I think that, once he made the cuts, he was in a no-win situation. Imagine if he had not planned the party (which, by the way, is an annual event):

“The bastard can’t even give us a Christmas party!”
“Yeah, that’s the least he coulda done!”

Hmmm… at my company they cut salaries by 30% AND cancelled the Christmas party.

So this doesn’t sound so bad actually.

The one thing about the past two years is they’ve cut the deadwood out of companies.

Yeah, that’s right. It’s just the “deadwood” that have lost their jobs. :rolleyes:
