Perhaps me using the example of computing was midleading, because I when I spoke of the exponential rate of technological advancement I was referring to ALL technological advancement, from the early humans to present days and some say including nature too. This is because one piece of progress fundamentally makes the next step easier and more likely.
Computing power does not represent all technological progress but it’s an example that people can relate to.
