> [@Slow\_Moving\_Vehicle](#): > > My neighbors homeschooled their kids and taught them that God put dinosaur fossils in the earth to test the faith of archaeologists. As a Christian myself, I’ve always thought that was one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard. If nothing else, it makes no sense that a god who says, “don’t lie” would tell a lie that big and stupid. My personal theory is that dinosaurs were actually God’s construction workers. Some of them elected to become mortal and remain on Earth. Hey, it makes as much sense as that “test the faith of archaeologists” idea. ---
