It may just be a generic fluffy cat or maybe it’s a [Selkirk Rex](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selkirk_Rex). ---

Rex [cats](http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_cat) have curly fur like that. They tend to be slender and pixie-faced, not chunky like the drawing. But if you’re asking about the knobby fur, that would be my guess. ---

Yeah, curly fur indicates Rex but the body type is wrong. I think maybe it’s supposed to be a long haired kitten whose hair is messy and needs some grooming. ---

I think Stormy is supposed to be the same sort of cat as Pusheen, except a kitten. Kittens are usually really fuzzy. It could just be that in-comic they’re adopted by the same people, but usually they refer to Pusheen as Stormy’s little sister. ---

Stormy, the kitten there, is modeled after a real cat and the breed is Siberian (which only comes in semi-longhair and longhair versions). They’re supposed to be genetically disposed towards producing less allergens and apparently it worked quite well for the owners, who haven’t had any allergy issues with Stormy. Pusheen is a generic tabby cat if I remember right. She lives with the parents of the people that have Stormy. ---

Looking at the pic again I see it’s a blog called _Pusheen_ (\*look \*at the whole picture WOOK :smack: ) What are its origins? Is it well known? I must say it does grow on one. ---
