ETA: In other words, it might make sense to see an osteopathic physician, because they are qualified to determine whether your self-diagnosis is accurate or whether you have some unrelated medical issue causing your pain.
Osteopathy is a medical practice based on the theory that diseases are due chiefly to loss of structural integrity which can be restored to harmony or equilibrium by manipulation. The manipulation allegedly allows the body to heal itself. Osteopaths use manipulation for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

The fact the majority of conscionable practicing osteopaths embrace western medicine and not the foundations of the history of osteopathy can only serve to show that even osteopaths (those with a sense of right and wrong) think their profession is crap.
