It’s actually been about six years since I’ve done anything hardcore, but back in the day I dabbled in tobacco, marijuana, hash and hash oil, opium, shrooms, LSD, mescaline, cocaine, crack, speed, and various prescription narcotics such as Demerol, morphine, Vicodin, and Tylenol #3. The worst drugs I use anymore is the occasional marijuana cigarette and Extra Strength Tylenol. ---

What kind of drugs have I _not_ inhaled or ingested? Thankfully, most of this happened around grade 10 when it didn’t matter much in terms of school. By the time things counted, in late high school, I was pretty straight and thus able to do well in school. So, for example, I was able to get into the university of my choice etc. Not so for the folks who got into drugs immediately before college. They became involved at a critical juncture in their life and some are still suffering the consequences _decades_ later. ---

Well, aside from alcohol, which is not so much a drug for me as it is an accessory, my list is: marajuana, acid, ecstacy, PCP, cocaine, and various combinations thereof. Mostly, though, I drink, I will drink, I will have drank, I will be drunk. ---

Although I’ve had to stay clean of everything except booze and cigarettes since I moved to China (they don’t take posession charges very lightly, they tend to kill 'ya) I have my history of drug use, and boy what fun it was!!! Here’s the rest of what I’ve tried, and a description: Marijuana, hash, hashoil, skuff etc: (my drug of choice is cannabis, the only illegal one I’d do again, Mary J rules!), Cocaine: (snorted and smoked, someone posted earlier about the latter being VERY dangerous, please elaborate, since I’m still alive! Oh, btw, I tried injecting it IV once, never again though!), Amphetamines: (lots of different powders and pills), XTC (it’s way too hyped, I preferred weed + speed + alcohol as a party combination!), Three or four different kinds of shrooms: (well, maybe I’d trip a couple of times more if I get the chance! Did A LOT for me spiritually, but I overdid it one summer and talked pure jibberish for a while.) LSD: (feels like rough shrooms, similar high but not as mellow, I prefer non-synthetic drugs anyway, just take more of them to get to that LSD peak!) Salvia Divatorum: (tried it in amsterdam, didn’t do as much as promised, but things got a little weird for about five minutes) Valium and pills with same active ingreedients: (whoa! If you drink at take this stuff you’re liable to make an ass of yourself wherever you go! I only parttook when with people that already knew what an ass I am!) Painkillers + alcohol: (not really recommended, tended to get me woosy and numb, but I was going through a time in my life when that was what I wanted. It also fucks with the liver.) Absinthe: (it’s alcohol, but with a twist! Drink half a bottle to see what I mean! :)) So, I think that’s it. All in all, I’m only going to consider doing weed and shrooms again (apart from booze and tobacco that I still do), but I can’t say I regret having done the rest. I’ve done alcohol, marijuana, hash, acid, shrooms, cocaine, and crack (only once for the crack, and not very much of it). I still drink and smoke, and I would most likely take some hallucinogens again in the right setting, but I don’t really plan on touching cocaine/crack anymore 'cause of the toll it takes on you. ---

I used to be an over the counter painkiller addict. That was in 8th grade, and I thankfully recovered. I was high once from secondhand pot smoke at a concert. I also smoked pot once, but it had no affect. That was all quite a long time ago, and I’ve been absolutely clean for a very, very long time. ---

Most of my drug use occured during a 5-year period from age 19-24. Smoked some pot before, and after this period, but rarely. Marijauna: Daily smoker during this period. Also smoked hashish, hash oil, and ingested pot several ways (including on Shake-and-Bake chicken). Pot makes me a zombie. I enjoy it, but I’m not much fun to others. Speed (methamphetamine): Mainly oral, but also snorted. Occaisional user during the same time period. Easy to abuse since I was mainly working the midnight shift. PCP: Smoked one PCP dusted joint. Great hallucinations. I know this can be a bad drug, but I enjoyed it. MDA: Slipped into a marijuana pipe I smoked. Most intense, scary, bizarre, long-lasting hallucinations ever. Not that much fun. LSD: Several experiences with blotter and microdot. Acts like ‘super-speed’ for me. A guaranteed 8-hour high. Mild hallucinations, lot’s of fun. I haven’t done it in a long time, but would again with little hesitation. Good for ‘blowing the cobwebs’ out of the cranium. Did have one mild flashback, no problem. Psilocybin mushrooms: Common hallucinogen in the Northwest, didn’t do too much for me. I recommend picking it, then going home and doing it. Otherwise, one ends up lying in a damp field, giggling. Cocaine: Snorted a lot of it one weekend, but I guess my sinuses were stuffed up, and it didn’t do much. The next week, I coughed, and got a huge bolus of coke down my throat. Yuck! ---

Heh heh heh. Despite my reputation here, I’m VERY clean. I’ve smoked pot four times, ingested it once. Last time (Sunday) I smoked, I hit the joint about 10 times, and did BlackJack (the water bong) about six times, two hits each. HOLY FUCK. I could not move, and forgot how to speak. Then, I puked. Let’s see…in descending order… LSD, mescaline, mushrooms, marijuana, hashish, – oh yeah! I sort of aged out on pot although if someone has some lit and is passing it around I might still take a toke. I would still like to trip if I ran into anyone with trippy substances to sell or share, but I don’t seem to any more now that I’m not in school and I’m in my 40s ☹ so it has been awhile. heroin, smoking (not injecting it), once only – dangerously blissful. Given addictiveness, I think it is a good thing this stuff is illegal. Not my normal sentiments. cocaine, crack – yawwn! Either I’m immune or I just don’t “get it”. Coke just makes my nose go numb (unpleasant) and absolutely nothing else. In the form of crack, smoked, it’s kind of like coffee, except stronger, and it also makes you short-tempered and easily flustered. And people PAY for this? crystal meth, other speed – same as crack. I just don’t get it. PCP (I think) (offered to me as DMT, which it wasn’t) – I think I’d rather be hit upside the head with a telephone pole. Had to crawl out of the party on hands and knees. ---

Weed, hash, oil (various combinations of these daily for probably 9 years), acid (lots), magic mushrooms (lots), cocaine (two or three times - fun but overpriced), Valium (once - a word of warning: a handful of Valium and a bottle of Ouzo is an EXTREMELY bad combination), various amphetamines (lots, for probably 3 years), angel dust (once), tobacco (daily for a total of probably 12 years, on and off - definitely the hardest drug to quit), nitrous oxide, codeine, something the dealers in Winnipeg called mescaline, which was more likely a combination of speed, PCP and whatever else they had lying around (they used to cut it with Nestle’s Quik, so we’d buy chocolate or strawberry mesc and snort it - great taste down the back of your throat afterwards.) That was all in my past. Currently, my drugs of choice are caffeine, alcohol and theobromine. Occasionally, a toke or two. ---

My ex boyfriend and I used to smoke pot all the time… but then I slipped into a hole that made every second of my sober life seem superficial. I haven’t done it since. ---

I cleaned up pretty nice in late 1998. Now I drink sometimes, I smoke pot sometimes, and I’m currently trying to quit smoking. I’m still a pill freak (prescription painkillers, muscle relaxers, sleeping pills, codeine in all its beautiful forms; right now I have two 8 oz. bottles of robitussin w/codeine, and some codeine pills). I’ll still occasionally get a bottle of ephedrine, but that’s only when I need to be alert for something. I’m going to go the **uberDave** way and say I will not answer questions regarding the time prior to 1998. ---

Never done any illegal drugs for any reason and have never been tempted to do so–I’m weird enough without the chemicals, thanks. I’ve never consumed alcohol–I’m underage and would rather stay out of trouble. Never smoked either–I’ve got a strong family history of lung cancer and I’ve never seen the appeal of it, anyway. The only “drug” I have any experience with is caffeine, which I am definitely addicted to (everyone I know would agree with this one). Obviously I’m pretty innocent compared to most of you! ---

I wouldn’t touch that shit if you paid me. What I’ve done : Pot, hash (every weekend) Opium (nice, but overrated. If I had a choice, I’d take lortabs over opium any day.) Various prescription opiods Benzodiazepenes : Valium, Xanax, Ativan LSD Psilocybe mushrooms (several different strains of cubensis) Nitrous Oxide Ritalin (just twice. The only thing I’ve ever put up my nose. You’d have to slap me upside the head with a frying pan to get me to shut up when I was on this stuff.) Dextromethorphan (cough syrup. A very underrated buzz, IMHO) Saliva Divinorum (tried growing this stuff once. Didn’t do a damn thing for me) Thorazine (I was in high school and would take just about any damn thing someone gave me. This stuff made me feel like I was nuts) Dilantin (An anti-seizure med that I got from a friend in high school. It doesn’t really get you high, but it makes your hearing _incredibly_ crisp and vivid. It has a bizarre, indescribable feeling that comes and goes in waves for at least 24 hours after you take the stuff.) ---

Lessee, here, it’s been a while… Alcohol, weed, hash, LSD, peyote, coke, speed once or twice, 'ludes once or twice. Mostly between the ages of 17 and 28 or so. Although I can be a somewhat obsessive personality, never seemed to have any problem taking or leaving any of these things. Some of my friends were not so fortunate, however, and while I am not generally against recreational drug use, I have to recognize that some folks simply cannot handle it. Eventually found coke in particular to be far too dangerous in terms of monetary investment and chance of personal injury. Always had a great time tripping, but seems to come off best when one is with a small group and involves a large time investment. Frankly, I’d feel a bit silly trying anything like that now. These days, my worst vice is a sip of decent scotch in the evenings. Guess I’m an old fart after all.
