Naming dogs after vile dictators is a long-time practice among dummkopfs (I can remember a 1940s story (by Thurber?) that mentioned it). _"Perhaps most shocking was the information that 15 L.A. dogs are named Hitler (mostly rottweilers, German shepherds, boxers and pit bulls_). This started as a very local story to where I was living at the time. The supermarket that refused to do his cake was my supermarket. I drove past his house often. He went to the same pediatrician and I once saw him there with little Adolf. There have been several updates since then. Heath Campbell found another Nazi lady to procreate with. He has nine kids and all have been taken away. He’s been in and out of trouble with several domestic violence arrests. A couple of years ago the courts allowed him to legally change his name to Heath Hitler. Thankfully he lives in Pennsylvania now. ---

It’s because involuntary sterilization was done BY the Nazis, etc. that we can’t do it ON Nazis. :smack: These notorious murderers had a pet snake named Hitler. They also had snakes named HIV, Bonnie, and Clyde. Yeah, they’re right where they belong. And the folks you’re mentioning were put behind bars for actual crimes like murder. Calling your pet snake Hitler or HIV doesn’t necessarily mean you are a murderer, but being a murderer makes it more likely you’ll give your pets murderous names. 😉 ---

I knew someone in college who’s given name was Adolph, named after his grandfather. He had to use his middle name. [HERE](http://wikipicks.blogspot.com/2011/11/famous-people-named-adolf.html) is a site called Famous people Named Adolf. ---

I have seen at least one documentary on the couple and followed some of it in the press; would Google now but I work for Da Jungle and I am sort of Peaked out. You come away thinking yeah – beat them senseless since they are already basically senseless. But some of the stuff dumped on them and the kids as a result I think may have been over the top. Last I was aware they were divorcing and the mother was trying for sole custody. Not so much because her views had changed but because she decided hiding them and having her children was better than expressing them and not. Maybe she’ll actually have an epiphany ------ maybe not. But the whole thing is just FUBAR beginning to end. ---
