Earlier tonight, I was feeling like the Morrissey line, “Tell me that you love me…oh I know you don’t mean it, oh I know you don’t mean it.” and maybe a bit of “I’ve come to wish you an unhappy birthday, cause you’re evil and you lie and if you should die, I may be slightly sad but I won’t cry.” Right now, my mood is “Everybody Have Fun Tonight, Everybody Wang Chung Tonight.” ---

I’m revising some Civil Procedure. Running through my head is a Paul Kelly song: _"Looooove is the law! The law is love!_ Funny, because (1) Mr Kelly is singing about love being the law or guiding force in his life, whereas to my ear it seems like he really loves the study of law (yeah, I’m a little tired); and (2) I don’t love law, I hate doing this crap. ☹ ---
