This “International Order for Gorillas” t-shirt was one of several weird ones worn by Val Kilmer in _Real Genius_. I bought one a few years ago, as there are a lot of “retro t-shirt” sites which sell the design. I think the first thing I ever won from a phone in concert was a WDHF (long defunct Chicago radio station) Screaming Yellow t-shirt. Can’t find any image on-line. Won it by being the nth caller using a dial wall phone in the early 70s. For whatever crazy reason it is a fond memory. ---

Not a logo as such, but in 1980 I had a shirt that read **I Was There When Mount Saint Helens Made an Ash of Itself** Which was close to the truth: I lived (still do) about 60 miles from the mountain as the guttersnipe flies, and the eruption woke me up. Shirt got a fair amount of attention on the bus in LA. ---

There was a bar/restaurant where I used to live that was quite good. And the service was fantastic. The owner new to hire enough competent servers. He’s a county commisioner now. The slogan was “Eric’s. Because everywhere else just sucks” ---
