I let all mine run out, but I was getting _Scientific American_, _Popular Science_, _Sail_ and _Rolling Stone_. They started piling up and I couldn’t get to them before the next one came in so I let them go. Since I don’t get the paper and never watch the news (except for the Daily Show) all my news comes from NPR. The mags are all piled up for “that day” when i get time to read them; of course, everything will be outdated, but oh well! * * * Ayesha has never seen a lemur’s penis. ---

I suscripbe to Parents, Reader’s Digest, and Mcalls. I used to get Entertainment Weekly and People but People was too expensive and Entertainment Weekly wasn’t that entertaining. * * * That John Denver’s full of shit man! ---

Readers Digest, Psychology Today, Entertainment Weekly (me.) Every hunting, fishing, gun and rifle magazine ever printed (the Mr.). He’s been getting Outdoor Life or some such for the past 20 years, the one with the fierce fanged grizzly bear on the cover and a story inside on “how I rassled a fierce grizzly bear and lived to tell”. I swear to God above, they have used the same story for the past 20 years, only the bear’s picture changes. Why do they do this? It’s not as though we are all under attack every day from bears, we are wiping them off the face of the earth along with every other living creature, but still outdoor magazines carry the same idiotic story year after year. That said, I don’t subscribe to many magazines any more. I like Time, Newsweek, People, Premiere, GQ, but I don’t get much out of them, they are full of short sentences and lots of pictures and the ten minutes it takes to read them is not worth the absurd money you have to pay for them. I also like Movieline and the Smithsonian and subscribe to them also. Used to get Cat Fancy, photography. and tropical fish magazines. ---

## I only subscribe to Entertainment Weekly, but that subscription is due to run out next month and I’m not going to renew it. I’ve been getting it for three or four years now and I’m bored with it. Sci. American has some great articles, though, at the risk of ridicule, I’ll admit to occasionally finding it dull. The Skeptical Inquirer and Archaeology are my two favourites, the only magazines that I actually read cover to cover. ---

Well the only ones i am interested that we get here are Elle Decor (yeah i know, Elle is a womens fashion magazine, but they do show some nifty interior designs, and products), and also Garden Design, which I have a suspicion most of it’s readers actually hire gardeners to do their gardening for them :). * * * I myself am an incorrigible conlang slut. I’m partial to Natural History, Smithsonian, and Discover. I’ve been a subscriber to all the above since I was about 11, nigh on to 15 or 16 years now. (Geekyness in the genes, perhaps.) ---

I’m an addict. National Geographic, Outside, Yankee, Autoweek, Automobile, Sports Car International, Northeast Dairy Business. I’ll usually pick up a couple of Remodeling or Home Fix-up type mags off the rack each month if it looks like there is something good in them. Yeah, I’ve got an old house that could use some new interiors. ---

Skeptical Inquirer, Skeptic, Discover, U.S. News & World Report, Kiplinger’s ('til the freebie subscription runs out), Barrons (ditto), The Nation (ditto again, though I haven’t even gotten one of those yet), Brill’s Content, Individual Investor (unless my sub ran out – I’m not renewing) at home. At work, I get Governing, some work-related magazines, and I am circulated Science News, Scientific American, Science, and Nature. ---
