# What makes a MILF?

A recent play-date got me wondering: what makes someone a MILF? It seems like using the term to describe any attractive woman with kids is setting the bar a bit too low. Hell, I’m in my 40s and there are lots of 20-something women with kids who are better looking than a lot of 40-something women, kids or no. Its just nature. My take is that to be a MILF a woman specifically has to be the mother of someone about your own age. Any thoughts?

Absolutely correct.
The first time I heard the term was in American Pie, when one of the teenage characters used it to describe Stiffler’s Mom (see also: Stacey’s Mom). The idea is that she could be YOUR mom (in theory, at least).
Unfortunately, the term has since been co-opted by a particular segment of the population who needed something to replace the worn-out sparkly pink “BITCH - Babe In Total Control of Herself” bumper stickers on their cars.

the key word in MILF is “I”, making it a subjective thing… I never considered age as a factor, thus avoiding the term GrandMILF.

For me, it’s just a nice search term when looking for stuff on line so you don’t feel creepy clicking on all the stuff that screams “underage teenage babes”.

That’s a fight I’ve been fighting for years. It requires that their primary relationship for your perspective is mother of x. Mother of a friend, mother of a coworker etc… Finding some hot chick who had kids just doesn’t count

I didn’t realize there was an “age requirement.” Guess I’ll have to wait a few more years to reach MILF status (assuming I can maintain/acheive the necessary level of attractiveness). :mad:

That’s ridiculous. If you’re in you’re 40s and you see a young mother in her 20s who “carbonates your hormones” then she’s a MILF. Whether you have a chance with her, or whether your morals/wife/significant other/parole officer prevent you from acting on your primitive instinct, has nothing to do with it.

A MILF is someone who could be the subject of such a conversation.
It’s more typical for guys to be attracted to females who are around their own age or younger. The MILF is the exception to that rule.

It’s relative. It’s not an age requirement but a generation requirement: you can be a MILF to someone of a younger generation.

Maybe we can devise an alternative acronym that more or less conveys the meaning, Such as Midlife Internally Lubricious Female, or Matron with Intact Libidinal Function.

I’ve always held to “my age +15” as the minimum age to qualify as a MILF. I don’t see nearly as many as I used to, but I do see some.
A hot woman my age or younger who happens to have kids is a Yummy Mummy.

MILF = Mum I’d like to fuck.
Yes, as said earlier the technical term for any hot woman with kids is ‘Yummy Mummy’. A MILF is someone old enough to be your mum. My wife coined the term ‘FILF’\* unfortunately it was to describe my dad! Well fortunately for him, unfortunately for me. To be fair though my MIL is a total MILF anyway, does that make her a MILILF?
\*Father I’d like to fuck for those still unsure.
