# What makes you a unique doper?

So what do you think makes you unique from all the other dopers? It doesnt matter what. In my case something pretty obvious (see location: Im not having a doperfest any time soon) so what do u think makes u stand out from the crowd? No matter how mundane.

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say I’m the only Aggie I’ve encountered on here. (If there are any more, they’ve been hiding…) Those of ye who know what that means might consider me unique amongst dopers.

Not to be argumentative, but that was your first post, according to your stats. So, how many other A & M graduates _could_ you have encountered, here?
I _may_ be the only “bear”, here, who isn’t gay, but I’m not sure about that. Aside from that, I’d have to go with **Mangetout** ’s “I’m me”, and therefore, unique.
BTW, **minega** , I think it’s very cool that we have at least one African on the board.
On preview, I see we have at least one African ex-pat, as well. Cool.

No Doper has been born within the 50 US states further south then me at 35 miles north of South Point.
I’m the only Doper I know of who provides 24/7_care for an elderly person\*\* who’s a shut-in_\*\*.
- Wll actually I escape for short walks every day since the depression of being a shut-in was really getting to me. I can’t imagine how prisoners cope.
\*\* My Grandmother.
\*\*\* For the past few weeks she’s been basically confined to her bed.

I’m the only doper I know who lives at my exact address.
I’m also one of the few dopers that is a identical twin (I’ve never actually heard of another twin doper-but I figure I’ll play the odds).
**Fern Forest** - I actually helped give my live-in grandmother care up until she died. She had alzheimer’s and it wasn’t pretty. My mother took care of most of it, but I helped out too. All I can say is it was hard to do day in and day out.

I may be the only American doper to have found an artifact now in the National Museum of Ireland’s collection. (FTR, it was a coin dating from the reign of Edward I.)

I’m probably the only Doper who can claim to have gone to school for all twelve years, plus kindergarten, without ever missing a single day. Perhaps there are others on this board who have done this, but I’m sure this sort of thing is a very rare achievement.
