**Mr. Clawbane** found [this](http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/8656/bugtc1.jpg) [beetle](http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/1894/bug2md0.jpg) on his t-shirt in the middle of his chest after going outside. The pictures are horrible, we borrowed my father-in-law’s cell phone camera this evening to get them. A friend sharpened them for me. I hope they are just clear enough to make a guess as to what species this is. We are in Southeast Kansas. It can climb glass, and fly. (We let it go after taking the pictures.) Its underside has the same pattern as its shell. When it flew its body hung almost straight down. Someone suggested Harlequin beetle, but if [this](http://www.flickr.com/photos/abl1/128732090/) is the correct image of one, that isn’t it. This beetle’s markings were pretty regular. It’s antennae are really thick, and long, hornlike sort of, they are segmented. It has great big spikey looking feet, large for a beetle. It has large mandibles, but not oversized. Er, I don’t know what it eats. Does anyone know what kind of beetle it is? 😕 I’m curious, it’s a neat looking bug. ---

Adding, the black markings seem to be on top of a white base, not white on black. ---
