I know we’ve had similar threads on this issue, but I thought it might be fun to do it again. Let’s limit the discussion to only parks used by teams in Major League Baseball. For me: Stadiums currently in use: Wrigley Field (Cubs) Chase Field (D-backs) Dodger Stadium (Dodgers) Angels Stadium (Angels). The Ballpark in Arlington (Rangers) Oakland Colosseum (A’s) Stadiums no longer in use: Candlestick Park (Giants) Astrodome (Astros) Dolphin Stadium (Marlins) Jack Murphy (Padres) As a bonus, I attended Anaheim Stadium for a California Angels game before it was renovated into the new Angels stadium after the Rams left. ---

Current: New Yankee Stadium Citi Field (Mets) Fenway Camden Yards (Orioles) Dodgers Stadium Past: Old Yankee Stadium Shea (Mets) Polo Grounds: I saw an exhibition game between the Yankees and Mets in the early 1960s Memorial Stadium (Orioles) RFK Stadium: I saw an exhibition game by the Orioles there once, between when it was used by the Senators and Nationals. Mile High Stadium: I saw a game there in the 1980s when the Rockies were a minor-league team. ---

My list is pathetic. Current: Safeco Field (Mariners) Oakland Colosseum (A’s) Past: Kingdome (Mariners) Also, I _almost_ went to Memorial Stadium (Orioles) but the game was rained out and I couldn’t attend the make-up game since I had a prior commitment. Still have the unused ticket. ---

Current: Jacobs Field (Indians – not it’s current name though) Fenway Park (Red Sox) Wrigley Field (Cubs) Yankee Stadium (though before the renovation Shea Stadium (Mets) hmmm I see someone else lists this as not current. Riverfront Stadium (Reds) Old: Municipal Stadium (Indians) Baker Bowl (?) Phillies Candlestick Park (Giants) Chavez Ravine (Dodgers – or is that just the old name for the current one) Old Comiskey Park (White Sox) Twins stadium (the one before the Metrodome) County Stadium (Brewers) Three Rivers Stadium (Pirates) Detroit stadium in use during the 60s Braves field (in Boston but much after it was used as a pro baseball stadium. Boston University now owned it at the time.) Busch Stadium (Cardinals) Polo Grounds (Giants) I walked through Ebbets field but didn’t see a game. ditto for Atlanta Fulton County stadium ---

Sheesh. I have been to exactly three: Riverfront Great American Ball Park Camden Yards I want to visit Wrigley, Fenway and Yankee Stadium just _once_ before I shuffle off the mortal coil. ---

Still in use: Wrigley Field, Chicago Petco Park, San Diego Cellular One Field, Chicago Citi Taxpayer Bailout Field, NYC Turner Field, Atlanta Rogers Centre, Toronto (it was called Skydome then) I also saw a minor league game in Fenway Park, Boston, a few years back, but never a major league game. No longer in use: Busch Stadium II, St. Louis Riverfront, Cincinnati (only they were calling it something else then…it was 2000) Veterans Stadium, Philadelphia Comiskey Park, Chicago Tiger Stadium, Detroit Exhibition Stadium, Toronto Olympic Stadium, Montreal Yankee Stadium I, NYC Shea Stadium, NYC Metrodome, Minneapolis County Stadium, Milwaukee I walked around outside the new stadiums in St. Louis, Houston, and Baltimore, but was never in town when the teams were. Going in january will do that to you… ---

I’m not a sports guy. A year or two ago I went to Wrigley field for a Cubs/White Sox game, but before that the last game I went to was at Milwaukee County Stadium, probably over 20 years ago. ---
