I’ve seen Spinal Tap countless times - 4 times on TV and who knows how many times on video. At one point, it was the only film I had on video, and I watched it every weekend. [Steven Wright]And funny, I can’t remember anything about it[/Steven Wright]. Is it cheating to mention a movie in the future? i’d have to say “Scream.” There was a time when i watched that movie almost religiously and Kevin Williamson (the writer) was my god. ---

Not counting The Little Mermaid, which I watched so much when I was 3 that the tape broke, probably Airplane! or Spaceballs – I can’t do the whole movie but I can definitely quote lengthy passages from each. (I tried to do a signature but it didn’t work…there was something wrong with the database or something ☹ ) ---

I’ve seen A Hard Days Night and Help! about a billion times each. Ok, seriously, at least 40 times each. Hmmm…The Princess Bride is another one. ---

I like nearly all the movies mentioned here and have seen all of them at least several times…except _Edward Scissorhands_. I just didn’t get that one. Others I have seen numerous times: _My Fair Lady_ (my favorite!) _The Music Man Guys And Dolls West Side Story Oklahoma State Fair_ notice a trend? Ok, so I like old flashy musicals, sue me. _Gone With The Wind The Wizard of Oz The Princess Bride InnerSpace Caddyshack Star Wars Real Genius_ (very funny!) _When Harry Met Sally Sleepless In Seattle_ (the only 2 Meg Ryan movies worth seeing) _Ghost Stand By Me Mary Poppins Chitty Chitty Bang Bang_ ---

Since seeing Errol Flynn’s “Robin Hood” with my Dad when I was 5 or so, I’ve probably watched it again dozens of times. Every current action star WISHES he were as cool as Errol Flynn! ---

Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail (prolly seen it 500-1,000 times. Once when I came home from college for spring break, I watched it every day of the break because I didn’t have the tape at school.) National Lampoon’s Vacation (50-75 times or so. The sequels mostly suck though. Christmas is ok.) Dumb and Dumber (Don’t know why I like it so much, but I’ve seen it 20-30 times.) ---

**Volcano.** Now, don’t get me wrong, this is not the greatest movie in the world. But for some reason, my oldest son got fixated on it and decided he wanted to watch it every Saturday morning. (He is autistic with severe OCD, so if this is the worst thing he can find to fixate on, I’ll live with it. It could be worse.) He’s over it now and on to **Mary Poppins** , but for a time I would get woken up every Saturday morning with him rushing into the bedroom saying “Dad! Dad! The coast is toast!” ---

Suckered into a movie post again… “To Have and Have Not”, Bogey, Bacall, great lines, crackling chemistry; Howard Hawks was the man, as far as I’m concerned. Something more recent? I’ve seen “2001-a space Odyssey” a bunch of times. Still nothing else like it. _Star Wars_, far and away. I love the whole trilogy, but the first movie just never gets old to me. Once I sat through a Sci-Fi channel marathon of all three movies twice in one weekend; that’s a fair chunk of time, including commercials. In the theater, paying full price, the movie I’ve seen the most times is _Batman_, with 5. Coming in a close second is _Jurassic Park_ with 4. _The Usual Suspects_ is still the only movie that impressed me so much that I paid to see it again the very next day, dragging friends along. “You gotta see this movie, it’s incredible!” ---

2001 like 8 times. Army of Darkness like 6 times. Alien 10 times (bought the book plus the two photo filled script books also.) Alien II 8 times Alien III 4 times (did not like it much) Alien IV 2 times (another dissapointment) 2010 4 times Star wars 8 times Return of the Jedi 8 times Raiders of the Lost Ark 11 times. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom 8 times. ---

I’ve posted about this before, but anyway . . . [_Local Hero_](http://us.imdb.com/Title?0085859) Why? Partly for nostalgic reasons, the when-where-and-with-whom-I-first-saw-it things, and partly because each of the dozen or more times I’ve seen it I’ve caught some new throwaway line or sight gag that’s so understated and subtle I’ve always missed it before. There’s also the fact that it’s probably the most sweet-natured film I’ve ever seen that doesn’t lapse into triteness or sentimentality. ---

Jurassic Park: Over 300 times. Forrest Gump: Over 75 times. All three Star Wars: Easily over 100 times each. I’ve only seen Episode I three times. Princess Bride: Over 100 times. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast: Over 100 times. Whenever I put on a movie that I’ve seen more than a few times, I always let it run while I make lunch, clean house, get ready for work…etc. So, I’m not technically glued to the tube for two hours straight. I bet I’ve spent over a year of my life just watching movies. (Which, is really, really sad) ---

Raising Arizona- I don’t think Nicholas Cage can ever top that performance! And for you Spinal Tap fans it was just announced that they have released the DVD version with outtakes making it at least an hour longer. ---

Have to be Raiders of the Lost Ark, I’ve had at least 3-4 differnt video versions of this movie. couldn’t even try and count the number of times I’ve seen it. Then would have to be Planes Trains and Automobiles, seen that a number of times too. The strangest thing I’ve ever done though is see the Fisher King three nights in a row. a buddy and me saw it the fisrt night, took a friend the next night and went and saw it AGAIN for a third night. still don’t know why. Others would have to be Life of Brian, Die Hard, Major League, Porky’s.
