There’s a thread right now about “Big Trouble in Little China” and it occurred to me that it is possible that I have seen this particular movie more than any other movie. It was always on some cable channel for like two years when I was a kid, and my Dad and I loved that movie. I’m not 100 percent on this estimate; I haven’t been counting. Certainly though it’s a strong candidate. A Pocket Full of Miracles. It’s a weird choice for a favorite movie, something I saw and enjoyed when I was young so I’ve watched it again and again. It’s not a great movie for a lot of reasons, but it includes the first major performance by Peter Falk, the very first appearance in a movie by Ann-Margret, a fabulous over the top performance from Bette Davis, and a host of character actors hamming it up. I think it has to be _Sideways_. I like the movie a lot, but I love the commentary track with Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden Church. I wish they would make another movie together just so I could listen to another commentary track featuring their humorous repartee. ---

I think I have seen _The American President_ close to 80 times. I have the ticket stubs to prove I saw the original _Star Wars_ 26 times during its first run in the theaters. Who knows how many times since? ---

Six? _Six_ times? I have multiple films with well over 100 views and a handful with over 200. Not sure I have any that go past the 300 mark, tho, at least not feature length films. ---
