Lets say more than 20 times, and you would watch it again. I would have a hard time picking the ONE movie I have watched the most times. Here are some of them: Jaws, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, The Godfather, Psycho, The Big Lebowski, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Vacation, Christmas Vacation There are others to add to my list I am sure. ---

When I was a kid and the first Star Wars came out, I saw it a ridiculous number of times. Somewhere between 70-90 times. The second Star Wars I only saw maybe 30 or so times. I’ve watched Bladerunner at least 30-50 times. It’s hard to say, because it’s one of those movies I still watch every so often, but I don’t keep track. Who knows? I could have seen that movie 100 times over the years. ---

Especially now that I can’t afford to buy any new ones. It’s hard finding a part-time job in a not that large city with more than 25,000 young people… ---

When you have kids, sometimes the movie you have watched the most times is not one you even actually like. 2001 for me - also the one I’ve seen most often in theaters. Twice in cinerama when it came out, I sat through it twice in a row in a theater during the first run (this was when you could stay after the movie was over) at least twice at campus shows, and once at an sf convention. Not to mention countless times on VCR and DVD. ---

Not counting **RHPS** (more of a social gathering than a movie viewing–at least for me), I’d have to go with **Young Frankenstein**. It’s just one of those movies I never tire of. A close second would be **2010–the Year We Make Contact**. ---

Excluding Rocky Horror, which would easily come out in the lead, it’s either _Room With A View_, which I haven’t kept count but estimate I’ve seen about 100 times, or _Fellowship of the Ring_, which I have kept count and know I’ve seen exactly 100 times. ---

_Groundhog Day_. I don’t know why. I don’t have strong feelings about it one way or the other, but for some unknown reason, I am compelled to watch it every time I find it on TV. And, for an equally unknown reason, that happens on a fairly regular basis. I have no idea how many times I’ve actually seen the thing, but I would be surprised were it not above 20 yet. ---

There are many movies I’ve watched over and over again. But there was a period during my sophomore year of high school that I watched Mallrats at least once every day. In my life I’ve definitely seen it over 100 times, maybe even 150, but it’s hard for me to estimate something like that. Groundhog Day is one that I’ve seen almost 100 times, and I’ve never owned it. It was just on cable so much, and I watched it every time it was on. Now in college a friend has it and we watch it often. One night we even watched it twice in a row. ---

At least 10+ The Matrix Snatch Rocky Horror Picture Show Monty Python’s Life of Brian Office Space Citizen Kane Dogma Predator At least 20+ times Star Wars (the entire OT) Jaws Aladdin The Princess Bride Monty Python and the Holy Grail Mallrats Clerks The Rankin/Bass animated Hobbit Pulp Fiction At least 50+ Spaceballs Don’t be a Menace to South Central while Drinking your Juice in the Hood South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut At least 200+ (This is a rough estimate but probably an _under_ estimate because I know I watched this movie almost every night for about a year and a half and many times before and since then) The Stoned Age Most of these (with the exceptions of Snatch and The Matrix) are several years old because I just can’t bring myself to watch a movie more than once anymore no matter how much I like it. I’ve seen each of the Lord of the Rings movies three times and I’ll probably see Revenge of the Sith a second time when it comes to DVD but those are very rare exceptions. ---

I always get a kick from the Kirk Douglas/Tony Curtis movie team.Spartacus and The Vikings. I saw the 7 Faces Of Dr. Lao when I was a kid and I never miss it when it’s on tv ---

Add the original _Vacation_ to my “20+” list. I’m not even a huge fan of it anymore (though it is one of the few 80s comedies that can still make me laugh), but it was on tv awhile back and I realized that I could still recite almost the entire movie, line for line, from watching it all those times way back when. I didn’t even look at my DVDs when compiling this list so I’m sure I forgot a few others as well.
