I find it amazing that creepy-looking alien species, who evolved on a completely different planet with no contact with terrestrial life whatsoever, all want to have sex with blonde human females. Iā€™d think humans would look and smell as repulsive to giant centipede aliens and said aliens would to us! ---

Several of the stories from _The Martian Chronicles_ were filmed as self-contained episodes of _Ray Bradbury Theater_, including ā€œMars Is Heavenā€. so the ā€œmovieā€ in question might be one of these episodes. SciFi aired several of them during one of those daytime marathons they do, kind of an improvised mini-remake of the 1980 miniseries. Since Bradbury keeps mentioning that a new version keeps bouncing in and out of development hell. Frank Darabontā€™s name has been attached, not sure if he is now. ---
