One more: Pretty much any scene from **Arthur** that _doesn’t_ involve Liza Minnelli. _“You’re a hooker! The scene from Home Alone 2 when Macauley Culkin is lip synching along with the movie (was it “angels with dirty faces”?) and makes the bad guys think he’s a man with a gun. ---

Any monster-fighting/city-stomping scene from a **Godzilla** movie (or any other giant monster movie, really). The ending of either **Alien** (Sigourney Weaver running around in her underwear) or **Aliens** (big fight between the Alien Queen and Ripley in the powerloader). I’ll also watch pretty much any old, black & white movie I catch, regardless of what’s going on. Except for westerns and war movies. ---

**Chicago** , either _When You’re Strokin’ Mama_ or _Cell Block Tango_ **Jurassic Park** , when they drive up and Sattler is wondering over the leaf and Grant tears off his sunglasses and then grabs the top of her head and turns it to the dinosaur. I don’t know if it’s that sense of wonder or the music, but I always get chills. ---

That scene in _The Last of the Mohicans_ when Hawkeye orders Cora to, “Stay alive, at all costs! I will find you!”. That scene sends shivers up and down my spine. ---

**Mommie Dearest**. Truly awful movie, but I watch it every time it comes on. **Bringing Up Baby** sends me into giggles every time I see it, so I’d stop and watch it at 3 in the morning. ---

It’s 3 am? Gawd! Why did I turn that stupid set on? John Wayne and Victor McClaglen are having a real donnybrook in **The Quiet Man**. That’ll keep me up for about fifteem minutes. I gotta stop turning that thing on when I get up to pee. ---

**Any of the LOTR trilogy** - I pretty much worship these movies , so anything from them has my attention indefinitely **Rocky Horror Picture Show** - Frank coming down in the elevator , singing Sweet Transvestite **Jurassic Park Trilogy** - ANY dino scene , but I particularly love the compys 😃 **A Knight’s Tale** - The jousting scenes . Yeah , baby ! **The Black Stallion** - OK , so it’s a kid’s movie… what of it ? I love the scenes at the beginning where Alec and The Black are playing on the beach . Such a beautiful animal ! ---

Pretty much anything from **Monthy Python and the Holy Grail** - especially the bit where they meet the French (_“I fart in your general direction!”_ or in Castle Anthrax. Arnold doing ballet in the opening scene of **Pumping Iron**. The death scene in **Amadeus**. I’ve seen it upwards of twenty times and it still sends shivers up my spine. The revenge montage that closes **The Godfather**. ("_…Don Corleone._") The bit in **The Godfather II** where Freddie’s fishing in the boat. The opera scene in **The Godfather III**. ---

A couple of scenes from **The Blues Brothers** don’t get turned off at any hour of the day or night if I stumble across them: The Aretha Franklin scene (and the street scene preceding it with John Lee Hooker, great stuff)- “Don’t you blaspheme in here! Don’t you _blaspheme_ in here!!” Ray’s Music Exchange - “2000 bucks and it’s yours. You can take it home with you. As a matter of fact, I’ll throw in the black keys for free.” ---

Any scene in **Victor/Victoria** with Lesley Anne Warren. My favorite is the scene where Julie Andrews sings “Le Jazz Hot” and then pulls off her wig. Lesley’s Norma goes from pissed off to ecstatic in three seconds flat. Just about any scene in **The Color Purple** , but particularly the last one. ---
