# What movies have you memorized most?

[This thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=439633&page=1&pp=50), regarding probably my all-time favorite film, got me to thinking about other movies I can quote from to the extent of annoying family and friends. So, which movies are you constantly quoting from? And relatedly, which movies have you seen the most times?
I have seen **Blazing Saddles** and **Airplane!** easily over 30 times each, and I can just about recite each movie from beginning to end. In a close third place would be **The Blues Brothers**.

Mine would be **Back to the Future** and **Rain Man**. When I was a kid I just about had the entire script to the **Muppet Movie** memorized.

I went through a phase where I watched **Wayne’s World** every day for an entire summer, so I know that pretty much by heart. I’ve also seen **The Fellowship of the Ring** enough times to be able to quote along with it too.

The Zefferelli version of “Romeo & Juliet”, which at one point I could recite almost front to back. It’s a perfect edit of the original play, which, like most Shakespeare, was insanely overwritten. Not EVERYONE has to have 20 minutes of expository speechifyin’ Bill, 'specially when we just SAW what they’re explaining!
Anyway, I saw the movie about 40 times.

I know plenty of people who can quote extensively from _Caddyshack_. I, myself, am able to do so, when required.
I recall a _Saturday Night Live_ skit/fake commercial playing off of this very idea.

Many of the above, plus My Cousin Vinny.
But I think the only movie I could recite from memory, without flaw, is Jesus Christ Superstar. I had it memorized before it was even a movie.
