Or Greg Kinnear? I agree with many already mentioned: _Starship Troopers_ with powered armor and Heinlein’s philosophy. _Sandkings_ if done very true to Martin’s wonderful short story. _I, Robot_ done with Harlan Ellison’s script of Asimov’s story. _War of the Worlds_ if true to Wells’s vision. And that’s just for starters. Hollywood has crapified too many great works of SF already, though. I don’t see them getting out of the habit yet. ---
