Thanks to the one-hit wonder thread, I actually just bought Modern English’s _After the Snow_ album. This album is way more post-punk that I was expecting – I hear lots of Gang of Four (or similar) influence over this record (I swear, change the production and arrangement a little on “Tables Turning” or “Life in the Gladhouse” and you have a Gang of Four song), which I was not expecting from only knowing their New Wave pop hit “I Melt With You.” Lots of solid stuff on this album, and I would totally recommend it to anyone into post-punk or early New Wave. ---

Dude, since we’re here I’ll add my current faves, too. I just bought a new car, and it came with a free satellite radio trial run. BB King has an outstanding Blues channel called Bluesville, and there’s also a Grateful Dead station that plays lots of live Dead music. I’ll add the Deep Tracks station as a third “What I’m listening to now”. ---
