# What \[musical\] keyboard should I get for my Mac?

I’m considering a late-life attempt to learn a proper musical instrument, and I’m thinking a piano-style keyboard would be the way to go - I don’t think my dexterity is up to guitar any more.

So I’m looking to see what electronic piano-style keyboard might be suitable for me and my Mac. The local Apple online store has a 49-key USB keyboard [http://store.apple.com/au/product/TN529ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA3MA&mco=MTA4NDQwMTk](http://store.apple.com/au/product/TN529ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA3MA&mco=MTA4NDQwMTk) and a 25 key one [M Audio KeyStudio 25 - Apple (AU)](http://store.apple.com/au/product/TV518ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA3MA&mco=MTA4NDQwMjE) . One thing that puzzles me is those 2 are the same price? Maybe I’m not picking up some vital technical difference between them, such as touch sensitivity.

So I’m after what folks here might recommend for me, and what they use for themselves. Thanks all!
