I have been thinking about it and while it wouldn’t be my number one choice, I’ll bet money it will be The King and I. It fits all their needs: it’s family friendly, has leads you can cast to draw an audience, it’s well known but not played out. I think that is the one they will go with assuming rights aren’t an issue. ---

Hugh Laurie can sing (so, for that matter, can Kelsey Grammer). That would be wasted as Henry Higgins. Make him Emile. “She Loves Me” would also be nice and family friendly. It’s a familiar story (even if it lacks the familiar title), it’s fun, and it’s Christmas themed. ---

The remake of The Music Man (I assume you’re thinking of the Matthew Broderick version) was filmed, not staged. I was under the impression that Willow decided she didn’t want to do Annie, so they cast Quvenzhane Wallis in her place.
