Last night, we were joking about how we would change Pennsylvania from the Keystone State to the Pothole State, and Colorado to the Stoner State. We got to thinking that surely people from other places do stuff like this to make fun of their state. So, what nickname would you give your state? ---

The one in my location -\> Explained in my profile, or, for the lazy: The **F** ly- **O** ver **S** tate **O** f **N** ew **E** ngland. Nothing much here except the roads, rails and air routes through to somewhere else. Which is pretty much the way it’s been since colonial days. Connecticut has almost zero actual Revolutionary War history, other than being the grocer and supplier to the other states. …which makes an EXCELLENT 12,000th post, IMVHO, as it proves there’s nothing much here to do, either. 😃 ---

I am _from_ Oregon, somehow it seems like it should be called the Almost There State. Not exactly sure why, it just seems fitting. ---
