Running commentary… true blood It’s Phlox! I don’t remember when we saw him on True Blood before. Must be a dream sequence. And eew. I prefer Buffy’s dusty vamps. Hmm, maybe not. Not so subtle metaphor for religious stupidity hah. Don’t kill the nerd girl! Boo. Bill is a douche. LOL at Greek takeout. Sigh Hoyt’s Mom. Vampire tax man! Ah he was the Medical examiner. What’s in that Lilith blood anyway? Godric! “Godless god?” Nothing on camera. Maybe Bill has a plan. Can a ghost vampire be killed? Vampire dancing to Katy Perry wow. Parent trap! Bill faking seems pretty unlikely now, since he was still “in character” when in a room by himself watching Eric & sis via security cam. YAY NO TERRY! Jason realizing Bubba really forgot him while pulling him over, that was pretty sad. ---

I think it was pretty awesome when Tara killed the sheriff. I like what they’re doing with the whole Pam-as-Maker thing … she’s kind of maternal but still hell on wheels. Bored with Sookie. The religion/Lilith plotline is boring too. I have a feeling Jessica will somehow be instrumental in getting Bill out of the Lilith cult. I definitely can’t see her falling for it. ---

I stopped watching early on in the season, I was really into all the Erik and Pam stuff but now that he’s released her I’m guessing they don’t have too many scenes left together and I’m not sure Pam’s supreme awesomeness can cancel out having to see Tara all the time. Bill is pretty boring to me without Sookie. At this point, I could not care less about Jason, Lafayette, Terry and Andy. ---

So what’s up with Jesus? That plotline seemed to end abruptly. Is it basically just that the girl killed his uncle and now his spirit is free? ---

The writers have made Tara more interesting this season, and I’m no longer rolling my eyes and waiting for her to leave when she’s on-screen. Pam getting more airtime is never a bad thing, either. Jessica comes from a strict, abusive family with strong religious beliefs, and has enjoyed the freedom that becoming a vampire has given her. She doesn’t recall the experience fondly, so you might be right about her influencing Bill. SOMEBODY has to, and who else is there? It won’t be Sookie. I was disappointed they killed Tina Majorino’s character. I would’ve liked to have seen her character reappear in future Authority-related plotlines, at least.
