# What non-sexual stuff do you miss when you're not in a relationship?

She used to have bad dreams and wake up in the middle of the night. I’d comfort her and get to go back to sleep and she’d curl up against me like I was the only thing left in the world. I miss that.

Knowing that no matter how bad my day was, she’d be there for me.

Trying to make her laugh with lame jokes.

Cooking together (especially when we were alone for the evening and were trying to cobble something together without having to go to the store).

Oh yes. Suddenly I can watch horror movies because I can guarantee that

a) no one will try to scare me more than him, with noises just like the monsters;  
b) no one will comfort me more than him when I wake up in the middle of the night.

Having someone to show my latest dance move to.

Thing is. . .I’m about 7 years into one now. I used to be able to keep about a 3 month repertoire.
