The lack of skin symptoms in the OP suggests it’s not, never mind a severe case of it.

If you simply wanted to play armchair House, you could have left it as a purely hypothetical scenario. So we are left to wonder why it’s important we understand this is a real person you make contact with on a continual basis. Sue Duhnym’s accusation strikes me as unflattering but fitting the symptoms of your OP as adequately as syphilis matches a shorn head.
