What part of the Natural Earth puts you in Awe? Poll

The Blue Mountains, near Sydney.

Pretty much anywhere tropical is simply amazing to me. There’s something really alluring about a deserted beach, just you and the trees and the ocean. I think I have a palm tree fetish.

If I could go anywhere in the world, it would be Palau. Just natural unspoiled beauty.

Ireland also has a certain attraction to me. The green hills and crumbling castles, its like a look into the past.

Milford Sound in the South Island of New Zealand is absolutely amazing. http://www.travellink.co.nz/media/category.asp?UID=116

sorry i don’t know how to do those fancy links

The Sierra Nevada mountains. At night. In February. With a full moon.
Any part of the Mojave desert, but especially the sheer desolation of Death Valley.
I was at Sequia National Park when I was about 8, so I don’t think I appreciate it as much as I would if I were to go back today.

This summer, I’m going to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, hopefully I’ll see something nice there

There’s a part of Victoria in East Gippsland (our far eastern stretches) that incorporates a National Park called Croajingalong. [http://voytekl.sixbit.org/piccies/croajingalong.html]( Photos of Croajingalong)

The beaches are pristine and breathtaking, (but prolly not too safe to swim in) and in the past I’ve taken the kiddies camping there. It is the most wonderful place for realising YOUR place in the big scheme of things.
