There’s an interesting map at the bottom of this page for Great Britain, showing the frequency of people with red hair. Intriguingly, it appears that red hair is only slightly more prevalent in the Scottish highlands than in most of England, while Wales has a higher percentage than either region. The northern most part of England and southern Scotland, however, appears to have the highest of all incidence of red hair.
