# What percent of 2016 Trump voters won't vote for him in 2020?

This is the exact message to the exact people in the exact geography that the Democrats need to be hammering on, relentlessly. Trump sold them a bill of goods and failed to deliver. Not only did he fail to deliver, but made them bend-over and take it hard for the trade war with China, which crippled them just before COVID hit. Biden needs to speak to a better path forward.

And I like the way **John\_Stamos’\_Left\_Ear** lays it out - Biden does not need a huge landslide - just a few % points here and a few % points there - in very specific regions.

Trump says he’ll [campaign against her](https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-murkowski-mattis-003152256.html) because of her support for Mattis’s speech. I wonder if that might help with her “struggle” to support him. :rolleyes:
