What percentage of people would choose to exterminate humanity?

Also, some people are driven by a desire to be “The One” - whatever “the one” may be. If it is common knowledge to all 8 billion Earth inhabitants that there is a big red button located somewhere in the world, and that if one - just one - person presses it, it will cause the extinction of all humanity, there are some mentally unstable people who would lust to push it, just to be “The One.”

I can imagine that there’d be any number of solipsists who’d be willing to push the button. I don’t think they’re crazy; they’re just, you know, the only ones who exist.

Depenmds on the day. Say tomorrow and I would guess 1% maybe? We got at least that many folks around us I guess who would consider it. But say the day after a Major National Election? Then I would say more like 20%.

It turns out that I support the impending extinction of the human race.

You see, vaccines threaten the extermination of humanity, or at least a very large part of it, according to Andrew Wakefield, high priest of the antivax movement, most recently starring as a prize attraction on a Conspira-Seas cruise and turning up as the consort of an aging supermodel.

Since I have spoken out in favor of immunization against dangerous infectious diseases, I am complicit in the coming extinction of mankind.

It’s a heavy burden to bear. :(

But then they’d only be willing to commit suicide, technically. Right?
