I won’t give up things I really enjoy - a good example is The Ref , which is my favorite Christmas movie. Yes, it has Kevin Spacey the creep in it but it also has two people (Denis Leary and especially Judy Davis) that don’t deserve to have a good movie boycotted just because one of the stars is a perv. I mean- it’s still hilarious… maybe I’ll go to hell for that but I don’t think its fair to everyone else on a project to discard it for the actions of one person. ---

Orson Scott Card. I always knew he was LDS, but I try hard not to discriminate against people because of the religion they belong to, so I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and not assume he was a regressive person just because of his religion. But he’s associated himself with vile beliefs, particularly being very anti-gay, and I have no desire to contribute to his success while he actively denies certain people’s human rights.
