# What "pet" names do you call your significant other?

Pepper Mill and I don’t use any “pet” names or endearments. Ever.  
I don’t know why not. We’ve never felt the need.  
For the record, “sweetie” is what she often calls her students.

Sweetie pie, Babe , or hon. Mostly sweetie pie because he is.

I sometimes call him “stretch,” since he’s 6’10". I may also call him “baby,” since he’s exactly 20 years my junior. Often, I’ll call him a name from whatever book or movie we’ve recently read/seen.

Generally, I’ll just use his name.

I can’t remember why on earth we started doing it, but my boyfriend and I call each other “beep.” We very, very rarely call each other by our first names- it’s always Beep. Occasionally, honey or sweetie.
