We had one rep, a middle-aged man who sent our gaydar into overdrive even though he was married and had several children, whom we really liked. He would bring in desserts his wife had baked, and they were always yummy. We also noticed that after he stopped by, doctors would order lots of the meds he pushed (I mean promoted 😃 ) for several days, and then within a week or so, those med orders would be back to baseline level. We didn’t tell him this, however. ---

And the pharmacy. Beats cafeteria food any day of the week, although this hospital had a pretty decent cafeteria. The fancy restaurants were, and are, in the evening and used for drug promotion and OCCASIONALLY continuing education. One of my mementos of that era is a Viagra clock I found at a thrift store. And guess what? I put batteries in it, and it didn’t work. 😛 Viagra pens continue to sell for ever-increasing money on eBay, too. My brother pointed out on Facebook, “Did anyone else notice that Viagra was being promoted with PENS and CLOCKS?” :o ---

One other thing. I did rotations at a clinic on an Indian reservation, whose formulary (the drugs they carry) is dictated by the Federal government. Why this particular drug rep would stop by puzzled all of us, because it was 40 miles from any place where he might have had some influence. 😕 He promoted drugs of interest to nephrologists, and people on this reservation had a very high incidence of kidney failure, so maybe that was why, FWIW. Anyway, my preceptor hated drug reps so much, he would always roll up his sleeves and do a surgical scrub of his arms after he left. 😛 ---

While a lot of the examples of pretty people are true there is one caveat and that is when you get away from the large metro urban areas into secondary and tertiary demographic areas (like mine on the Eastern Shore of MD ) the front line sales/service people are often far more average looking than what you see in the big cities and more financially upscale areas. There are still good looking people around, but they are not nearly as concentrated as what you find in the large metro areas. I suspect a lot of this simply because there are not as many well paying service jobs floating around, and if you’re a knockout with any common sense you don’t want to waste your looks in the sticks where the pay is usually poorer as well. ---

I live in Montreal and the female gene pool happens to be very good, with a blend of European French origins, a large Italian population and who knows what other ethnicities of very attractive, black-haired beauties, so there are a lot of attractive women working everywhere. Also, Etihad Airways flight attendants - extremely attractive. ---

I’m perfectly fine with anyone answering my questions, just wanted to directed my questions to what I was curious about. Not familiar with quoting multiple people on this forum however. 🙂 Astro THAT’S THE WORD I WAS LOOKING FOR! “Concentrated”. I don’t know if I edit the title of this forum thread, but essentially… I want to know where attractive people mostly concentrate/flock/condense out of all places out there. Also, just so I understand this right, places that offer higher paying jobs have a better chance of having attractive employees over places that offer lower paying jobs? Like comparing a tailor suit store vs Walmart cashiers? Ukulele Ike LOL, Fight the power against what exactly? Ugly people? Your own kind? I’m confused! 😃 nearwildheaven How does one even meet these pharmaceutical sales people? They represent drug companies correct? So their customers are mostly doctor’s offices and related then? I don’t know that I could call him a friend of mine, but we’ve interacted in a number of threads. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the airline industry, and I find his posts to be very enlightening. Given his level of experience, I’d give his POV on flight attendants pretty good weight. I would assume that not all flight attendants are golddiggers (or even a majority of them), but it sounds like there’s still a not-insignificant number of them who may be. ---

As I think he mentioned in his OP, you _might_ see them if you’re in the waiting room at your doctor’s office when they come to meet with the doctor, but otherwise, you wouldn’t ever see them on a professional basis, since the job of a pharma rep has nothing to do with interacting with laymen. ---

Heck, given the OP’s apparent young age and immaturity, let’s cut to the chase. What he wants is orgasms; cute women are just a means to that end. The ultimate job for that is porn actor. Any other occupation is so far back in the sex-per-work-hour race as to not even leave the starting gate. As to the proverbial pilots and flight attendants, the one thing the old FAs teach the new ones in the first week or two is that all pilots are evil to their very core. Things were (I’m told) different back in the swinging '60s. But all those pilots and flight attendants who married one another then got divorced in the hangover '70s and '80s. And have kept spreading the hate ever since. Industry insider joke: Q: How do pilots and flight attendants have oral sex? A: They shout “Fu\*\* You!” across the concourse at each other. ---
