If there’s a movie I want to see, I’ll watch it in the theater. Once it’s released on DVD, if I want to see it I’ll rent it from the library. I can’t remember ever having paid to download a film.
I used to buy DVDs all the time, but I ended up never even opening them. I now only buy a disc if it’s a film or TV series I know I really love, and/or I really want to see the extra features.
Netflix physical disks. By the time they bubble to the top of my que there is no wait for them (and I can delete anything I may have seen in the iterim on Cinemax)
It depends on the film, but yes, I pay $20 or more for lots of films I haven’t previously seen. Sometimes I pay that for a film that I’d never even heard of before I saw the BR in the store. I did that with The Raid and The Man From Nowhere and Gantz and hundreds of other movies, and yes, occassionally I don’t care for the film, in which case it goes to Zia. Most of the time my judgement turns out to be good, tho, and I wind up with what I consider an excellent addition to my library. FWIW, I now have well over 1200 films on either BR or DVD. I don’t ever lack for viewing material.
I love seeing movies in the cinema but I don’t go often enough. Just can’t be bothered watching them on TV for some reason. TV is for tv programmes, in my view. Not sure how I arrived at that opinion but I think I’m stuck with it.

Rent digital copies online.
Rent movies from cable or satellite VOD.
I see all my movies in the theater. X I wait until they get to cable.
I’ve used redbox once. Tried to use it again and it wouldn’t accept the credit cards I tried for reasons I was never able to figure out. Both times I was only using the thing in the first place because I had a free rental code.
I do sometimes go to the theater, but less and less as time goes by. Too expensive, crowds getting too obnoxious. Thanks, cell phones!
I’ve also occasionally gotten movies from “other” sources not in the choices.
I see some movies in the cinema, buy some on DVD, and watch some once they hit free to air TV. There are still video games I own but haven’t installed because of my internet’s data cap, so digital movies are out of the question.
