**Mazda** for me, too. I have a CX-5 that I like so much I bought a CX-30 for my second vehicle.

> I see shoes are big in this thread. So I’ll fit right in with my Skechers Slip-Ins. They’re truly easy to step into or slip out of. They’re comfy. I have 2 pairs (one black, one white) and as my other shoes get too raggedy, I’ll look for more slip-ins.

I love them, too; even started a [thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/announcement-i-may-never-buy-any-other-type-of-shoes-that-is-all/1008237) about them. I’ve since realized, though, that they seem to wear out much faster than other brands I’ve owned. I’m still down with **Skechers Slip-Ins** , I’ll still buy them, but with the knowledge that they won’t last as long as others.

> I should have mentioned that various styles of Hoka are designed for different types of foot issues. You might look up which ones are best for your particular feet.

I am also on the **Hoka** train, for my daily going-on-a-walk shoe. I’ve been having sacro-ileac joint pain and thought these might help (they didn’t). However, many podiatrists recommend the brand for hip/leg/foot health. Go to a specialized running shoe store and get fitted to determine which model is best for you. Also, know that they feel different than other shoes; they have a pronounced “rocking” sensation while walking, that some folks cannot tolerate, particularly if you have balance issues. I’ve found that I like the feel of them.
