I believed i used something like camstasis last time and it was good but there was only a 30 day trial period. Is there anything similar to that but its free or i will have to buy it no matter? Basically just record a stream or video that im watching online.

1. “a computer” isn’t helpful. Lot’s of different categories of computers and most importantly operating systems.

Please, _always_ specify these key pieces of information.

1. For PCs running recent MS OSes, [here’s](http://www.techsupportalert.com/best-free-streaming-media-recorder.htm) a small list of some free streaming capture programs.

Pay programs are much better. I use Replay Video Capture and am sorta okay with it. Others are probably better but I don’t have them so I can’t say specifics.

1. VideoHelp is a good site for lists and reviews. [Here’s](http://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/capture) their capture page.
