0.9999 … = 1 = 2/2 = One

They’re all just different representations. Are you saying that the number 1 has no application in reality?

If you’re referring to the apple story, no. You should read up on the dichotomy paradox. Picking up an elementary calculus book wouldn’t hurt either.
